Holland Basham Architects was retained by the Walter and Suzanne Scott Foundation to design and construct the expansion of the existing Scott Residence Hall facility on the south campus of the University of Nebraska at Omaha. The project consists of a series of ten apartment-style residence buildings. Each unit consists of four single bedrooms, two full bathrooms and living spaces as well as a full kitchen and washer and dryer support space. These buildings are wood framed with brick veneer to match the existing architectural style of the Scott Residence Hall. In addition, a 2,500 s.f. “Clubhouse” was provided for student activities as well as a tornado shelter.
