University of Nebraska at Omaha
Maverick Village
Omaha, Nebraska

  .

HBA was selected to design the new student housing for the main campus of University of Nebraska at Omaha.

Providing accommodations for 384 students, the student village creates a pedestrian friendly environment through its network of paths, sustainable landscaping and collegiate-style architecture.  The all brick, apartment-style buildings incorporate modern living arrangements with large, open public spaces that flow together.  Each unit features a full kitchen, furnished living spaces and private bedrooms.  Amenities include: full size refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, bed, love seat, lounge chair, dining table and chairs and other furniture items.

The student housing is supported by a new student commons building which will provide mail room services, administrative offices, assembly areas, game rooms and group study facilities.

In addition, HBA also provided design services for a new multi-level parking facility on UNO's main campus.
