Congratulations to the project team for their completion of the 50/50, a student housing development to support students at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. This public/private partnership between America First Real Estate Group (AFREG) and UNL began two years ago at 18th & R in Lincoln. The 10-story development includes a 1605-stall parking garage and housing for 475 students. The building features 4-, 3-, and 2-bedroom units, several common gathering areas, a courtyard, a lounge with kitchen and a fitness center. Residents begin moving in on August 1. Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in interior design or interior architecture; 5+ years of commercial experience in an architectural firm including corporate (work place strategy), healthcare, retail and multi-family housing; proficiency in AutoCAD 2012 and Revit 2012 required; SketchUp preferred.
